Parakeelya Architecture and Construction Management (PACM) Senior Managers are committed to a positive workplace culture which embraces quality, health, safety and environmental (QHSE) best practice and encourages all personnel to participate in improvements to all our systems.
Quality: We are committed to ensuring our customers are always satisfied. We will meet and consult regularly with our customers to ensure we fully understand their requirements and meet their expectations in regard to the products and services we deliver, and encourage feedback on our performance so that we may continually improve our service.
Health and Safety: Our aim is to ensure that all personnel are committed to actively participating in and promoting a positive health and safety culture. All personnel will be actively encouraged to report hazards, incidents and near misses, with a no-blame culture to be promoted to participate in ways to improve the way we provide our services.
Environmental: All work carried out will be assessed to ensure it considers impacts on the environment with a focus on protecting and/or improving the environment. Consultation with workers will regularly occur to ensure these objectives are met and continually improved.
Community: We recognise that indigenous people have often been overlooked for opportunities and this has left a large gap in the education and skills of many talented people. We shall give a weighted preference to indigenous people and businesses when recruiting. We will provide training and mentoring to indigenous employees willing to commit to improving their skills and employability. Our goal is to provide long term economic and social benefit to the local communities and to Indigenous people.
Drugs and Alcohol: We have a zero-tolerance to drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
Harassment, Bullying and Anti Dscirminatory: PACM has a responsibility to provide a working environment free from discrimination, harassment and bullying and to ensure all complaints are treated confidentially, seriously, and sympathetically. To this end, we have developed an internal complaint resolution process to assist staff and contractors to raise issues of concern. Disciplinary action may be taken against anyone found to have breached this policy or counselling where appropriate.
