Inductions

PACM is committed to all personnel being competent in all roles they carry out. For this purpose we have prepared our IMS-TR-207 Induction Procedure

IMS-TR-207 Induction Procedure sets out the process to be followed to ensure all personnel working on or visiting PACM sites are inducted and aware of their responsibilities. This procedure applies to all personnel working on or visiting PACM sites.

Company Induction

The PACM Induction is to inform all new personnel working on behalf of PACM about our Company, policies, procedures, and the various systems that are used. All employees and sub-contractors will receive the PACM Company Induction prior to beginning work with a record of their completed induction kept on IMS-R-220 Company Induction Register

The company induction provides the following information:

  • Introduction to PACM
  • Company policies
  • What to expect on PACM sites and individual expectations
  • Consultation arrangements
  • QHSE Issue resolution
  • Expected behaviour/Code of Conduct
  • Site rules
  • Bullying, harassment and anti-discrimination
  • Drug and Alcohol Policy
  • Risk Management process
  • Controlling risks
  • Specific hazards e.g. traffic management, work permits, electrical hazards, asbestos, chemicals etc
  • Training and competency requirements
  • Unexpected finds protocol e.g. UXO (unexploded ordinance – Defence)
  • Environmental management
  • Emergency response, first aid and incident reporting
  • Recovery and Return to Work
