This project consists of the manufacture and installation of new fire trail signage for Buckland Military Training Area and Stony Head Training Area in Tasmania, Australia. The scope of the successful contractor consists of the following:  Manufacture and installation of fire trail signage to each base as per the project documentation. This includes sign blades, sign posts, all associated connections and footings to erect the signage and removal of all waste materials as required. Contractor to advise of expected life for typical signage to inform maintenance/replacement requirements.  As a part of the installation process, unexploded ordinance (UXO) safeguarding/clearance will need to be undertaken by a specialised UXO contractor for the sites deemed necessary as identified in the project documentation. An appropriate sequencing of activities will be required to be developed by the successful contractor. This submission should include the proposed schedule, signage design, sign post and footing design.  Adhere to all relevant safe design risk and environmental risk mitigation measures identified in this document and supporting documentation.   Contractor to allow for UXO safeguarding/clearance for the sites listed as per the maps and schedules.
