Heritage restoration of Army Drill Hall

Fort Queenscliff Building 39 Works include: [Refer to Appendix B – drawings and Appendix C – specification for detailed information]

  • Removal of existing roofing and replacement with new roofing material across the entire roof including insulation of existing roof purlins and ridge cappings
  • Replacement of eaves gutters to existing facia
  • Replacement of downpipes
  • Replacement of damaged/rotted timber weatherboards
  • Replacement of door panels and window frames where damaged
  • Replace any damaged/missing vents on side of building
  • Repaint all existing and new weatherboards All plant, materials, labour & supervision required to safely undertake the following ancillary works;
  • All works must be in accordance with the Heritage Management Plan (appendix D)
  • Disposal of all waste materials offsite
  • Allowance for all security passes/escorting that is required to complete works Traffic management
  • Updating of estate data information
  • Shop drawings
  • As Built drawings
  • Development and approval of Environmental Clearance Certificate
  • Operating and Maintenance Manuals
  • Cleaning during and after works to provide a clean working environment for building occupants
  • Make good/rectification after removal or alteration of any elements.
