Eldo Hotel and Building 620 LEG Installation
A Local Emergency Generator (LEG) is being installed at two locations –the Eldo Hotel and Building 620.
In addition, a Mobile Generator Link Box (MGLB) will be installed at both locations to allow a mobile generator to be connected for when the LEG is out of service.
The Eldo Hotel is supplied from a dedicated 750kVA kiosk transformer where the maximum demand load is expected to be less the 500kVA. A 500kVA diesel generator set will be housed in a 40ft shipping container with an internal high capacity fuel tank pre-connected to avoid the use of external fuel tank and connecting pipework.
The electrical loads associated with Building 620 are run off a 100A main switch. The maximum demandload is estimated to be 70kVA. A 100kVA diesel generator set in a weather proof, noise attenuated canopy with an internal high capacity fuel tank sufficient to run for 64 hours, will be installed outside of the electrical room of building 620.
